The plan of events of the Year of Science and Technologies, as well as the largest scientific events of 2021 in the region, presented on March 11 during a press conference with the participation of the Deputy Governor of Irina Manuilova, Minister of Science and Innovative Policy of the Region of Alexei Vasilyeva and Vice-Chairman of the Siberian RAS Sergey Golovin.
As stressed during the press conference, Irina Manuilov, currently formed the federal program of events of the Year of Science and Technologies - 73 events are included in it, including two events proposed by the Novosibirsk Region.
"The federal plan includes 73 events of the Year of Science and Technologies, these are festivals, numerous thematic events," Irina Manuilova commented. - Two of them are directly related to the Novosibirsk region - they were proposed by the region and are included in the federal plan. This is the beginning of the construction of the Scythia and the VIII International Forum "Technopris", which should be for the Region of the Year forum. "
The Zimgubernator stressed that the Regional Plan for the Year of Science and Technologies, developed in the Novosibirsk Region, includes the federal plan and supplemented by the Regional Component. These are events aimed at creating a high-tech environment and the implementation of the abilities of both talented youth and all residents of the region.
The Minister of Science and Innovation Policy of the Novosibirsk Region, Alexey Vasilyev, explained that a large block of regional events would be devoted to the popularization of science. Deputy chairman of the SB RAS Sergey Golovin, in turn, noted the importance of attracting widespread attention to the new developments of scientists and thanked the leadership of the region for constructive interaction.
During the press conference, it was emphasized that among the main objectives of activities devoted to the year of science and technologies in Russia and in the Novosibirsk Region, the formation of a comprehensive idea of the implemented initiatives and achievements in the field of science and technology, an increase in the prestige of science and the status of scientific activity, as well as the involvement of talented youth in the sphere of science and technology.
Recall, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin from 21.12.2020 No. 800, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Andrei Heroven, was appointed chairman of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of "Science".
