The meeting of the interdepartmental working group was held in Kapane, created to identify problems and operational responses to possible subsequent problems arising from the implementation of the provisions of the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020. The meeting also covered the issues of coordination of works carried out in the Syunik region of Armenia.
Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan visited the Syunik region on January 29th. According to the press service of the Deputy Prime Minister, Tigran Avinyan noted the following:
"Today we have faced a difficult situation when existing problems are not only socio-economic, but concern primarily safety. Their solution requires urgency, as well as maximum accuracy. Meetings and observations, which we took place during the day, gave a more holistic picture of what questions are on the agenda, the details of which we should now have to comprehensively discuss.
However, taking advantage of the opportunity, I would like to confirm that the government supports Syunik in all respects and in solving all issues. Moreover, the government has already begun to develop and implement specific economic measures that a positive will change the situation and simultaneously provide the decision of the most pressing issues. "
During the day, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the community of Goris, Votan, Shurnich and Kapan, familiarized himself in place with the situation, with socio-economic conditions and security conditions. The inhabitants of the villages discussed issues requiring an urgent and long-term solution, the ways of their decision were outlined.
Tigran Avicina's working visit was summed up in Kapane, at a meeting of the interdepartmental working group. The Deputy Prime Minister presented the results of his discussions with residents of communities of Vorotan and Churnuch, according to which new homes for families who lost housing will be built. Work will begin next week. Each member of the family who lost housing will be provided with a one-time allowance in the amount of 300 thousand drams. In addition, before the end of the construction of housing, at least within 6 months, each member of each family will also receive 68 thousand drams.
During the meeting, it was touched in detail the whole range of problems that existed before the start of hostilities, as well as arising from them, including security measures, agricultural work, the organization of protection of the population.
