For more than a year, I went to the embodiment of ideas in collaboration with leading IT companies Rostov-on-Don, Moscow and St. Petersburg. In September 2019, the prototype of the thermal-biometric station (TBS) was represented by the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev during the school opening ceremony in the new city microdistrict.
TBS contactlessly measured the body temperature of the child, identified his identity according to biometric data. It was assumed that in the future, the collected data would not be simply fixed in the electronic diary, but to be discharged into the medical information system. The governor personally tested the device and responded positively about him.
However, before introducing into practice, it did not come. According to one of the versions, the gadget was too expensive. There was no public indignation: among the parents of schoolchildren there were supporters of the theories of the conspiracy, a large brother and "chipping".
Later, the TBC was successfully demonstrated in the government and in the Ministry of Industry.
Pak "Innovation Factory" is obviously more accessible by price - according to the company's site, the cost of the complex is about 170-180 thousand rubles. It is known that the Rostov region will receive 1236 complexes, Arkhangelskaya - 375, Kurgan - 378, Sevastopol - 76, Ingushetia, Dagestan and Kamchatka taken together - 1700.
