One of the most disgusting places in Zelenograd is the area in front of the shopping center in the 3rd microdistrict - waiting for the reconstruction. There they promise to make a pedestrian zone, but at the same time save parking. In words, it looks strange, but the Zelenograd administration has a lot of experience in this matter.
The area in front of the shopping center has long become a chaotic parking - it is always forced by machines. Various shops work in the shopping center, delivery point, cafe, post office, gym, beauty salons. Pedestrians make their way between machines - sidewalks and pedestrian zones here is not in principle.
Another problem is because of the constantly standing machines, the area cannot be removed. In winter, there is almost always a snowy mash and frown, in the fall and spring - large puddles. Two years ago, the prefecture was clearly not answered by a normal well-maintained pedestrian zone.
The project for the reconstruction of apple alley and the territories adjacent to it is being prepared. It will be done according to the sample of the central avenue - that is, it is not only the replacement of asphalt and borders, but the improvement of the territory adjacent to the street. The area in front of the third trading is included in this project. Here, "there is an organization of parking space within the territory with the allocation of the pedestrian zone", "Zelenograd.ru" was told in the prefecture.
That is, parking will not be banned, but will decrease - otherwise the pedestrian space can not be distinguished there. At the same time, the head of the district council puts the central avenue as an example, but there they did the pedestrian zone precisely through the ban on the parking lot - without any exceptions. Although the complaints from drivers, owners of institutions along the avenue and locals were a lot. But in a small area of the third commercial parking for some reason fear for some reason.
For the shopping center there is parking (check-in with apple alleys). It is not empty, but not always filled. It would be possible to expand her due to the neighboring empty space - where there was a lawn on the site of the demolished "Khrushchetta". The inhabitants themselves asked the parking lot in this place, but others, according to the Chairman of the district council of deputies, - namely the inhabitants of the corps 306, 307 and 308 were opposed. And now in this place is built a year-round fair - to which they will also come on cars.
Another nuance: The project in the area is planned to install lighting and "small architectural forms". Usually, this is implied primarily bench. It turns out, people will sit in the parking lot.
However, the Zelenograds are not accustomed to. Parking turned into a central square. Parking captures the pedestrian field of youth. And these are not elemental parking, but the result of intentional improvement.
So far, the project documents under coordination stage, and the improvement itself is scheduled for 2022-2023. At the same time, the projects of the reconstruction of the street of youth and Moscow Prospect are made - they will also be comprehensively landscaping.
