For the first time, the premium model Lagonda Taraf was presented in 2014 on a closed presentation in Dubai. Initially, the sedan was expected to sell only in the Middle East - exclusively by Arab sheikham. But later, the company has changed its plans and expanded the market to other countries, including Russia.
The mass production of Taraf began a year later, in 2015, at the Aston Martin plant in English Hydon. It is known that the company planned to produce no more than 200 copies. But how many of them ultimately was sold, remains a question. According to some data, we are talking about 120 copies, in other - only 60. The production of Lagonda Taraf ended in December 2016.
Lagonda Taraf was built on the basis of the VH410 platform - just like the most discerning Aston Martin Rapide.
