From 1985 to 1991, Gorbachev was the Secretary General of the CPSU Central Committee, in 1988-1989 - Chairman of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet, in 1989-1990 - the first chairman of the Supreme Council.
Gorbachev, in fact, led the country for six years. And these years were remembered - and the Russians in general and Kaluzhanam in particular - next to bright and often ambiguous events.

"I am deeply convinced that the restructuring was necessary and that we guessed it in the right direction. The main thing is what we have achieved within the country - people gained freedom, committed to the totalitarian system, "said Gorbachev journalists.
According to media, Mikhail Sergeevich will celebrate his 90th anniversary in Zoom. Holiday, he intends to spend with his loved ones, friends and comrades.
