7. 1976 Lotus Esprit - 11 years
If Georgetto Judjaro is taken for the design of the car, then you should expect something magnificently from his work. And Lotus Esprit has not exceeded. Despite the fact that small modifications took place for decades, the car maintained an acute wedge-shaped body created by Judjaro.
The car turned out so cool that even appeared in some films about James Bond, fully corresponding to the image of a steep superagency. The broken lines, an unusual wedge-shaped shape and pointed face made this model one of the most recognizable for their time.
6. 1991 Acura NSX - 12 years
The first serial car with a completely aluminum body and engine, Acura NSX has become one of the most notable sports cars in the 1990s. The small weight of the NSX coupled with the V6 engine made it possible to challenge any German or Italian competitor V8. Wonderful aerodynamics and a strong technical part did not leave anyone indifferent from the fans of double sports cars. Production was stopped due to the fall in demand, which, in turn, was directly related to a high price.
4. Jaguar XKE - 14 years
Enzo Ferrari somehow called Jaguar E-Type the most beautiful car he ever seen. Does it want to change after such praise? For the American market, I had to make some minor changes, but throughout our life XKE did not move away from the initial design, while maintaining the most recognizable features, among which the famous front desk hood. Although the car finally stopped producing in 1975, it still takes a special place among cars with a magnificent design.
3. LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH - 15 years
This lamborghini is notable not only as the first serial car with scissor doors, but also as a car with a very "stable" design. Despite minor improvements, the view and form of Countach remained almost unchanged throughout the entire period of release.
The reason for such a constancy won the design of the car "repelled" from its powerful engine V12, resulting in an acute wedge-shape. Interestingly, it worked on the design then not very experienced Marcello Gandini, whose fantasy was not "spoiled" by classical ideas about how the car should look like.
2. Volkswagen Karmann Ghia - 20 years
A wonderful example of the joint work of the Italian and German designers Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was represented by the public at the 1955 Frankfurt Motor Show and had a fantastic success. The latter turned out to be very sustainable, and in twenty years, the model survived only a small change in the rear lights, while the rest of the car retained its unique look.
1. Morgan Plus 4 - 71 year
The undisputed leader of our rating - Morgan Plus in 1950 in 1950 in 1950, this British Rhodster does not even have a trunk! In addition, there are no bumpers here and there is nothing similar to the audio system, air conditioning, climate control or GPS system. But Morgan still boasts an excellent engine and easy control. This, of course, is not the fastest roadster, but it is exactly the most beautiful, since the creators managed to create a design "out of time".
