"On the night of 4 to 5 February, the official Rosgvardia portal has been subjected to a continuous powerful DDoS attack for several hours. It was established that kiberatak was conducted from the territory of another country, not from Russia, "the press service of the department notes.
Information security experts managed to determine that the cybercrime attack on the Rosg Guard portal was carried out at once from the territory of several European countries.
"We have repeatedly come across such cyberatics. And every time we successfully reflect them. For example, similar DDoS attacks were held on January 23 and 31 of this year, "said the press service of Rosgvardia.
Day February 4, Nikolai Murashov, Deputy Head of the National Coordination Center for Computer Incidents (NKTSKI), said that his department had information that the United States began to actively accommodate its information technology specialists (cyberlike divisions) in neighboring countries with Russia - Ukraine, Macedonia, Montenegro. Murashov said that the plated cyberlike divisions are hackers who will conduct cyber attacks on various purposes located on the Russian territory.
It is worth recalling that similar large-scale DDoS attacks at the beginning of 2021 was already the official portal of the Federal Penitentiary Service. Then the attacks were carried out continuously within two hours, but in a short period of cybersecurity experts managed to restore the normal functioning of the web resource. Then it became known that DDOS attacks on the FSIN website were carried out from devices located in various countries of Europe, North America, Asia.
