The Regional Drug Control Working Group will monitor pharmacies in all areas of the Grodno region. Information about this was announced today at the first meeting of the Group in the Committee of State Control of the Grodno Region.
The main task of the working group is a comprehensive study and streamlining of the situation with the level of prices in pharmacies, as well as the development of proposals for improving legislation in this area. The group under the leadership of the Chairman of the KGC of the region Anatoly Roadko, in addition to the specialists of the State Control, the representatives of the Main Directorate of Health of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, the General Directorate of March on the region, the regional association of trade unions, as well as the Grodno RUE "Pharmacy", transfers BelTA.
"From February 2021, the Committee started control measures. There are positive results. In almost all pharmacies in which monitoring was held, the price level decreases. Although in some cases the decline in a number of positions was insufficient. For example, in one of the private pharmacies for the month of monitoring, the price of the drug "Xarelto" decreased practically on the BR30, the other price has not changed. Such pharmacies will be paid to increased attention, "noted the head of the department for the control of the budget and financial sector of the State Control Committee of the Grodno Region Tatiana Glabush. She emphasized that state and private networks of pharmacies are covered by control activities.
Monitoring will be held in all areas of the region. And the controllers will try literally to each pharmacy.
Also in the center of attention are the instructions of the head of state to curb the unreasonable increase in prices for socially significant products. March previously accepted several regulatory documents regulating prices for essential goods.
"But not all business entities are followed by the established procedure. Numerous violations are allowed, especially with regard to goods such as baby food and pasta. And at the same time, the exceedment of the maximum levels of trade premises reached 117 percentage points, "said the head of the management of the work of the branch of the Committee of State Control of the Grodno Region Natalia Jour.
In just 2020, the controllers revealed violations of pricing procedure in 51 trading facility. It is about a third of all proven stores. According to the results of monitoring, recommendations are directed to eliminate the violations identified, and the penalties were not applied.
Violations continue to be detected in 2021. Facts of overestimation of prices for socially significant goods are installed in 19 trading facilities. In some of them, violations are revealed again. These stores will be brought to justice.
