The results of the Second World War are trying to revise the authorities of Japan. Historian Oleg Nemensky explained Tokyo's similar revanchism.

After the end of World War II, over 75 years have passed. However, its results are still trying to challenge certain countries involved in it. Now the official Tokyo is increasingly declared. Historian and political scientist Oleg Nemensky, Senior Researcher, Russian Institute of Strategic Studies, explained the causes of such behavior of the authorities of Japan.

The expert believes that after a certain period, many losers seek to revise the events of the past. The victims defeated in World War were forced not only to morally recognize the victory of their opponents. After the surrender, they also lost a number of territories. This still does not give rest to radically configured political forces in these countries.

It did not exception and Japan, the point again declaring their claims for the ownership of the Kuril Islands. This dispute is gradually moving into confrontation between states. First of all, it is noticeable in the information space, in addition, it is worth considering the placement of the United States on the Japanese territory of their medium-range missiles. All this says that from Washington, the same statements will soon be called with the intention of revising the events of the Second World War and its outcome.

Oleg Nemensky reminds that such a situation is unacceptable and any insinuations with attempts to other interpretation of victory in the war of 1939-45 can only be temporary. The conditions under which the most bloody armed conflict ended in the history of mankind, cannot be revised after so many years. Recently, the support of not only the admission of foreign military bases, but also to develop their own nuclear warheads has grown in the country of the rising sun. But all attempts to give another assessment of the results of the Second World War are not crowned with success, even despite the militarization of Japan border areas.
