Laying the lower crowns "House Pavlova" began at the "Architectural and Ethnographic Museum-Reserve" "Shchelokovsky farm", the director of the Museum-Reserve Marina Bugrova told the Deputy Head of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod, Leonid Streltsov.

"House Pavlova" is a business card of the museum, its restoration began in 2020 and will end this year. "The casting of the first crown of the house is a special stage in all construction. In an old crown, coins, grain or fur were laid. The "House of Pavlova" buildings of the XVIII century, which belonged to the Old Believers peasant, transported to the Schelokovsky farm in the 1980s. From the Kourninsky district. The house is decorated with a unique deaf thread, genuine interiors have been preserved inside it - their restoration is now in the workshop.

As Architect Restorer Anton Myakyshev told, in the old days, the peasants were built the buildings from the tree, which grew alongside their place of residence. Most often in construction used pine and fir.

"For the reconstruction of the lost elements of the" Pavlova House ", a non-standard spruce, growing in the northern edges, was chosen. At the usual length of the cut 6.3 m, the coarse spruce from the Great Ustyug is 10 m, the diameter is about 40 cm. Now the masters put the axis and in their future they will put a bustling crown - so the geometry of the church itself will be asked, "Anton Myakyshev explained.

Recall that 2020 in the museum renovated four monuments of wooden architecture. So, the world's unique mill for Russia returned the historical appearance of almost two-centuries ago, and she can repel the grain again.
