On the site Avto.ru there was an announcement of the sale of a very unusual car - the sportsman TagAZ Aquila Sample 2014. From the conveyor of the Taganrog plant, only a few dozen such cars took. But this copy is special: he underwent a number of changes, thanks to which it became more powerful and more reliable.
Aquila put on the sale of her third owner from the Smolensk region. It was he who was engaged in refinement of a sports car. Non-intention remained except the body. But the salon became much more elite: it received a leather finish, enhanced sound insulation and the newest media system with the Kenwood acoustics and the rear-view chamber.
In addition, the running part was completely redone. For this, the owner used the details from Toyota. Due to this, the car increased the road clearance (though, it is not reported to how much), and the bottom has received special protection.
The engine on Tagaz is preserved by the factory - 1.6-liter from Mitsubishi. At the same time, the power plant was significantly finalized. For example, a sedan received a tiny box "Mechanics" and an alternative exhaust system with two nozzles. Due to this, the motor was able to force from 107 to 146 horsepower.
For six years, Tagaz Aquila managed to drive 42 thousand kilometers, but preserved in good condition. By the way, together with the car, the seller is ready to give the buyer spare headlights, bumpers, steering wheel and even the engine start button, which did not have time to install himself. It is ready to part with your sports car for 900 thousand rubles.
For comparison, at the beginning of the past decade, new Aquila sold about 420 thousand rubles. True, there has never received a wide distribution of cars. There were several reasons at once. First, the Taganrog Plant, which collected these supercars, could not establish mass production and sales.
Secondly, the buyers themselves were in no hurry to praise cars - people did not suit the poor build quality. So, in 2014, the plant went bankrupt and closed, while he had only a few dozen Aquila into the world.
Recall, in 2018, the former owner of Tagaz recalled himself again, trying to resume the production of Aquila, but already in France. The car then received a new name - MPM PS160 and a more powerful motor from the PSA concern issuing 130 "horses". Last summer, there was information that the supercar will become electric. But this is all silent. Since then, nothing is heard about the project, as well as about its owner.
