In early March, it became known that a 31-year-old rescuer died in the Ida Tallinn Central Hospital, whose health suddenly worsened after the vaccine vaccine vaccine. The Department of Medicines believes that it is impossible to eliminate the relationship between the health problem and the vaccine, Postimees writes.

The Department of Medicines appreciated the possible connection of a serious health problem with a 31-year vaccinated person with Astrazeneca vaccine from COVID-19.

According to the criteria of the World Health Organization, the causal relationship is not exactly determined, but it is impossible to eliminate the connection of health problems with the introduction of a vaccine. "This is the expected result of the assessment of a separate possible side effect, and further analysis of the causal communication will be based on similar reports collected at the international level of the European Agency for Medicines," the statement says.

The Department of Medicines on March 3 received a notice of a side reaction in connection with the death of a 31-year-old man, who was made on February 17 vaccine vaccine Astrazeneca. After the introduction of a vaccine from coronavirus, a man has ordinary side effects that disappeared in a few days. But in ten days after vaccination, thrombocytopenia and brain artery thrombosis were developed, which demanded hospitalization and led to death.

The task of the Department of Medicines was to appreciate whether there is a connection between the vaccine and the problem of health. When evaluated, it is based on the WHO manual, in which, in accordance with the established criteria, classify the relationship as a certain, obviously missing or as a connection, the reason for which is unambiguously determined.

To assess the department, the Department collected data on the case of the disease and the previous state of the health of the vaccinated person and attracted to the evaluation of specialists from the clinic of the University of Tartu and the Ida-Tallinn Central Hospital. The latest data was enrolled on Thursday evening.

When evaluating it was established that in accordance with the WHO criteria, there are no specific evidence that the disease was associated with the introduction of a vaccine, but taking into account the relevant temporary interconnection and the absence of any other specific reason for the causal relationship between health problem and vaccine cannot be excluded.

Data on the case of the disease was sent to the database of drug safety supervision of the European Medicine Agency. The European Medicine Agency took into account this case in assessing the connection of vaccine with thrombosis and thrombocytopenia.
