Nissan presented a completely new QASHQAI - the third generation of one of the most popular crossovers in Europe and Russia. The novelty received a completely different exterior design and a new set of engines.
The appearance of the crossover has become more acute and aggressive and includes a V-Motion branded lattice, as well as thin LED matrix headlights with new running lights in the form of a boomeranga.
The athletic appearance of the new Qashqai is enhanced by a pronounced belt line passing along the entire length of the car. And for the first time, the 20-inch alloy wheels can be ordered on Qashqai as an option.
The new Nissan Qashqai is slightly more than the model of the previous generation: 35 mm longer, wider by 32 mm, above 25 mm, and the wheelbase is increased by 20 mm. Buyers will be able to choose between 11 colors and five two-color combinations.

Innovative hybrid
Nissan has already announced that the new Qashqai will be available with an electrified line of engines, which includes two moderately hybrid gasoline engines, as well as an innovative self-loading full-hydrical transmission E-POWER.
Basic models will be equipped with a moderately hybrid 1,3-liter four-cylinder Dig-T engine with turbocharging. It will be available in 138 hp options. and 156 hp, and will work in a pair with a six-speed manual gearbox or an Xtronic CVT variator. There will be a all-wheel drive version, but only in combination with a 156-strong engine and variator.
A version with a full-hydrical E-POWER system uses DVS only as a generator of electricity that is not associated with leading wheels. New systems
The brand new Nissan Qashqai is also equipped with the latest version of the Car Support System Propilot. The system that is now called Propilot with Navi-Link is available only on models equipped with an Xtronic variator, and can accelerate the car to cruising speed and inhibit it until a complete stop in a fully offline mode. If the car was motionless less than three seconds, and the flow of cars ahead has already started moving, the system can resume work automatically.
The updated Propilot system can now exchange data with radar blind areas to help make adjustments to steering, read road signs and use the navigation system data for the corresponding adjustment of the vehicle.
