A plan for the development of international youth cooperation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region for 2021-2023 was formed, the press service of the governor and the government of the region reports.
A document, which includes more than 200 projects with the participation of representatives of the young generation of the region and foreign countries, was developed as recommended in accordance with the recommendations of the XXXV meeting of the Council of Heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
As told in the Department of External Relations of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, during the meeting of the Council, which took place on December 9, 2020, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted a positive example of the region's work on the development of contacts with foreign youth.
According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today the active participants in the intercultural dialogue are higher educational institutions and youth organizations.

The agency noted that a significant part of the planned activities was aimed at the development of Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren and students of the skills of ownership of foreign languages. At the same time, for foreign partners, measures will also be conducted to study Russian as a foreign one.
As the plan of the plan has been added to the government, the plan's activities are preparing to hold at least 14 municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
