According to "Contour. Focus", Kronongaus belongs to 25% of Alem LLC, which manages N + 1. According to her, the co-founder of the Pictcher Agency Vsevolod Chagayev, the rest - an unnamed private person acquired most of this share.
The amount of transaction side is not disclosed. Chagayev will also take the Alem general director. He himself specified in a conversation with VC.Ru, which bought 20%. He added that he would remain co-owner "Piccher", but in the daily operating work there will be no participation.
Krongauz noted that in almost six years the team was able to achieve what he conceived at the beginning: "Make scientific news as important and operational as economic or political, as well as introduce a scientific, technological and new ethical agenda to public discourse." The company also could make a niche scientific publication profitable.
"N + 1 for me as a native, because it developed next to and in parallel with our Picker agency, we even sat in the same office," Chagayev commented.
According to him, the plans n + 1 for 2021 - redesign, launch of educational courses and community functions. Also, with the publication, N + 1 Production agency will appear, which will offer the editorial bureau services and launch corporate media. "All these things will allow you to earn more and spend on the development and new content," said Chagaev.
Investments on new projects will not attract, says Chagayev: "N + 1 for a long time in operating profit, and the launch of N + 1 Production does not require almost no investment. New revenue will help to finance redesign and launch of new directions. "
