The next expansion of the list of use of state support for Agriana Stavropol will affect compensation for the cost of purchasing seedlings of garden strawberries. In the Doctrine of Food Security of Russia, fruits and berries took into account, and this subsidy will be included in the State Support Program in the near future.

- In Russia, a strawberry garden is customary to call strawberries, although these species are very different. Both plants belong to the family - strawberry, to the family pink. The British were the first to grow the forest strawberries in the gardens, and over time, large-scale varieties were brought. The most famous vintage grade Sadovaya Strawberries is the Victoria variety. This species quickly spread the world. And in the Russian gardens, it was firmly a varietal strawberry, derived initially from wild strawberries by the British, "said Elena Tambovtsev, head of the crop production department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.

On the Stavropol region on an industrial scale, 11 farms in the open ground are grown by 11 farms, including 6 K (f) x.

The most large strawberry areas have SPK "Soviet" Kirovsky district, SEC "Nebobnensky" Georgievsky district and K (f) x Pedashenko of the Trunovsky District. The main cultivated strawberry varieties are "Clery", "Nellie", "Crown", "Marmalade", "Elizabeth-2".

Last year, housekeepers of garden 996.7 tons were collected in the region (three times more than in 2019), including open soil - 246.7 tons and protected soil - 750 tons. Production increased by commissioning a greenhouse complex for year-round growing garden strawberries in the vicinity of Kislovodsk.

Also, in the direction of the development of this industry, an increase in industrial landing spaces is planned, the use of new cultivation technologies in greenhouses, tunnels, releasing new varieties, processing and freezing. All this will contribute to increasing the yield and improving the supply of the population with berries.

In 2020, 5.5 million rubles were allocated to compensation for Stavropol berries (47% of cost incurred) were allocated from the budget. This year, state support is provided for by 4 million rubles.
