Mayor Anatoly Elbow awarded the enterprise of trade, catering and domestic service of the population who won the competition for the best New Year's design.
- In our latitudes, when in the winter most of the day is dark, it is very important to brightly decorate the city for the new year. It helps to create an atmosphere of the holiday. We have no such budget opportunities as, for example, in Moscow to cover the entire territory of Novosibirsk, so we appeal to enterprises, business entities so that they pay attention to their buildings and the adjacent territory. Many of them responded and participated in the general case - creating a festive mood, "said the mayor Anatoly Elbow, adding that the artists and architects of Novosibirsk work on the creation of the concept of New Year's design of the city, which will help to decorate it in a single style.
The competition for the best New Year's design of trade enterprises, catering and domestic service of the population is held by the mayor of the city of Novosibirsk since 2003. The contest provides for two stages - district and urban.
In 2020, 365 applications were submitted to the district stage. In the city stage, 82 participants took place in the first seats in various nominations, 17 participants were taken, second places - 26 participants, the third - 18 participants. For the first places, the honorable diplomas of the Novosibirsk City Hall were handed over, for the second and third - honorary diplomas of the Department of Industry, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Thanks for the management of the consumer market of the Novosibirsk City Hall celebrated 20 more enterprises.
