We tell about how from the project Pavel Durov has grown FREE TON, how it works and what is different from the other blockchain projects

In the spring 2020, not only coronavirus raged, but also the American SEC-after a long struggle The Ton project received a red card and was removed from the field. The results of the long-term labor of the developers under the leadership of the Brothers Durov, almost went to the side of the story.

Caution doors open

Having putting the entire code into open access, Durov issued card-blanche to developers around the world to improve and develop their ideas. A group of 20 companies - blockchain-developers, the largest staiking providers and stock exchanges - with the support of crypto enthusiasts from around the world, who have become "initial participants" (English Initial Members), launched the Free Ton network in May last year.

The solution to launch an independent decentralized network was not random and the only right. Roll into the high-tech workings of the fools in the garbage bucket would be an unforgivable step. Super-fast transactions, smart contracts, shargs, custom coins, POS consensus, infinite possibilities for starting a huge number of validators. Such a project is obliged to live.

The task of launching decentralized systems where transactions signs many distributed and independent validators, solved with one or another success, and repeatedly.

But to create and develop blockchain on the basis of the principles of decentralized management, when the motion vector is not selected by the Board of Directors or attracted consultants, and no one has tried anyone at such a scale.

And this mechanics functioning the Free Ton network is not as a blockchain, but as a social body, deserves special attention. The main network of the project has more than 400 independent validators.

Tokens - People

FREE TON did not conduct an ICO or some other form of pre-sail coins, the entire emission of tokens in the amount of 5 billion Ton Crystal was immediately available on three "Givera" (English "Giving, donor") managed by multi-type of initial participants.

According to the hymen, the coins are distributed in the following shares: 85% of the coins lie at the Hive address intended for the distribution of tokens among community participants for their contribution to the development of the network; 5% lies in the gaver for the distribution of validators supporting the network in working condition; And the remaining 10% are intended for developers whose decisions and services will achieve the massive use of tokens and the blockchain as a whole.

Tokens are placed, now it is necessary to determine the conditions for their distribution - for what, to whom, how?

And here it begins the most interesting. The distribution of tokens is organized on the basis of proposals put forward by community participants. There are no restrictions in authorship and the subject of proposals - reasonable logic, reasonable volumes of tokens and understandable KPI. The applications themselves can be divided into two classes - proposals for collaborations and proposals for competitions.

All offers are published publicly - on the project forum, where each community participant may leave their comments and considerations for their improvement, to expose the idea of objective criticism. After discussion, the offer is loaded into the blockchain to vote. If the initial participants vote 50% + 1 vote, the offer passes. A collaboration or competition is launched.

Power - people

Over the past 9 months after the launch of Free Ton, the network has developed rapidly - both from the point of view of the program code and the size and activity of the community. The initial members no longer cope with the load on the selection and voting on proposals.

This was born a model of "submarines" (Eng. SUBGOVERNANCES), allowing to diversify the load and make the organization of the process more efficient. Each submission consists of a group of active community participants, combined with interest in certain issues - validation, programming, design, defi, etc. There are such subrections that are engaged in the organization of work with crypto communities of different countries on their native languages. Today, FREE TON total has 18 such self-education.

The creation of individual governing bodies in various directions made it possible to increase the number of contests held and, as a result, the dynamics of the distribution of coins among the active participants of the community, in them participating. To date, more than 100 competitions were held, among the winners of which more than 140 million Ton Crystal were distributed. And activity continues to grow day by day.

What's next

However, the Free Ton community continues to experiment on decentralized control models - at the moment active work is underway over GovernmentNance 2.0, in which each Ton Crystal holder will have the right to vote. The launch of the G2.0 is scheduled for the coming months. We will continue our observations of a decentralized blockchain with a truly decentralized management model.
