The region begins the preparation of the Voronezh Territorial Subsystem of the RSCS for the summer fire hazardous season of 2021.
As the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region, Alexander Koshelvel, registered 2 times more landscape fires in 2020 compared with 2019 - 4932 and 2443, respectively.
Fire square increased six times: from 211 hectares in 2019 to 1262 hectares in 2020. Alexander Koshel reported that 23 cases of the transition of landscape fires were admitted to buildings, as a result of which 24 residential buildings were destroyed, 45 non-residential homes, 130 surplus buildings.
One of the problems associated with landscape fires is a state with fire safety in every area and city. Often, huge areas of land in the municipalities that are in private property are facing grass and shrubs for dozens of years, no one is processed and not purified. According to the results of the emerging fires, inappropriate execution by local self-government bodies of primary fire safety measures was revealed. So, the facts of untimely purification of the territory of settlements, including fire-fighting mineralized bands from combustible waste, grass trash is established. This work was carried out only when preparing for a fire-hazardous season.
The head of forest management Alexander Sysoev told about the situation with forest fires. Their number in 2020 increased four times compared 2019 - from 28 to 110. Their area increased 38 times: from 60.68 hectares in 2019 to 2307 hectares in 2020.
At the same time, last year, the Voronezh region took 15th place in the Central Federal District in the number of flattering fires and the last 17 place in their squares. In the facts of forest fires, 26 criminal cases were initiated by the staff of the state fire surveillance of the region.
As part of the preparation for the fire hazardous season of 2021, measures are carried out on fire-fighting arrangement. Their execution places are planned taking into account the fire hazardous period of 2020, which is associated with the frequent facts of the transition of fires on the land of the forest fund from land of other categories. Also designed, agreed and approved plans for the extinguishing of forest fires on the territory of the forestry in 2021. The consolidated plan extinguishing forest fires in the territory of the Voronezh region for the current year is now being coordinated in the federal agency of forestry.
Alexander Sysoev recalled that in the framework of the "Preservation of Forests" regulation, the modernization of the Voronezh Forestavine Center was planned, by 2024 the provision of technology will be 85%. This year, within the framework of the Program, it is planned to purchase 5 fire tank trucks, 1 tank tractor with a motor-pump and 300 units of fire equipment at the expense of federal funds.
