The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Center for the Development Technologies (CRPT), which is the operator of the product marking system, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Cooperation when providing typographic labeling of milk, writes TASS with reference to a document published on the Ministry website.
Typography, applying labeling on dairy products, can join the Memorandum, the document says.
The document notes that the parties sign it "based on the principles of respect for mutual interests, attaching the importance of the effective implementation of a project to marking dairy products by identification, openness and awareness, recognizing that the method of marking finished dairy products by applying identification tools for dairy products (Typographic method) is the most demanded among industrial manufacturers of finished dairy products. "
According to the text of the document, the Ministry of Industry, within the framework of its authority, informs the manufacturers of dairy products about the possibility of marking and informing the printing houses about the possibility of accession to the memorandum, as well as coordinates the prepaidness of the printing houses and develops proposals for the measures of their state support.
CRPT as a marking system operator is entitled to receive information about the readiness of the Machine Packaging with the printing house, check the preparedness of printing houses, to provide the received information to the manufacturers of dairy products, publish it on its website, and also post on the site a list of printing photos.
At the same time, the CRPT undertakes to inform the printing house on the typical technical solutions developed in the process of experimenting the labeling of dairy products, to provide printing on finalizing technical solutions, make efforts to ensure the printing houses by software and hardware of the distribution of marking codes, which do not limit the performance of typography.
Typography, which will sign the Memorandum, undertake to apply efforts so that no later than two months from the introduction of mandatory marking of a particular type of dairy products to ensure at their production the presence of printing equipment sufficient to perform orders for the production of packaging and stickers in the required volume in compliance with Deals, the document says.
On the labeling of dairy products
In Russia, from July 15, 2019 to December 31, 2020, an experiment was carried out on the labeling of finished dairy products. The system will work in a voluntary format on January 20, 2021, while the marking codes will be free until the mandatory marking mode occurs.
The withdrawal of dairy products from turnover via the cashier will be required from December 1, 2021. There is a delay until December 1, 2022 for farmers implementing products through their own retail.
From September 1, 2022, the mode of complete traceability of dairy products through the labeling system will be introduced, traceability will be implemented through a volumetric principle.
From December 1, 2023, the last stage will come - the mandatory complete phase-permanent traceability for goods is shelf life for more than 40 days, while for perishable products (with a validity period of up to 40 days) surrounding volumetric records.
Weighing goods weighing up to 30 g, food for children under 3 years, specialized and preventive nutrition. Also will not be labeled products. In addition, goods produced before the date of marking can be sold before the expiration date.
