On the Gorky Auto Plant began the mass production of the new model of the Valdai Next medium-room cargo car. The use of a broken cabin made it possible to reduce the dimensions of the car, increase the amount of available cargo space, provide high maneuverability and minimal reversal radius. The truck intended primarily for urban transport will be supplied with already ready-made superstructures that are installed on the factory conveyor.
On the Gorky Automobile Plant started the serial release of the Baby-blind truck "Valdai Next". To organize the production of the car, the assembly conveyor was upgraded, the cabin of the cabin was organized, the modern processing equipment was purchased, a stamped equipment for the production of exterior and interior parts was purchased. Investments "Gas Group" in the development and organization of the production of a car account for about 1.4 billion rubles, including 400 million rubles of a preferential loan under 1% per annum from the Industry Development Fund (under the Office of WEB.RF), clarifies the press service of the company.
The main direction of the use of "Valdaya Next" is a city delivering van. The car is produced with two versions of the wheelbase (3310 and 4000 mm) and with three variants of the length of the freight platform: 4700, 5100 and 6100 mm. Volume of cargo compartment - from 20 to 29 cubic meters. The area of the body allows you to accommodate from 8 to 11 standard europallet. Initially, three types of add-ons will be available for orders: industrial and isothermal vans, euroslatform. In the future, other options for special equipment will appear.
At the first stage, the full mass of the new average room will be 6.7 tons, load capacity (by chassis) - up to 3.8 tons. In a model of gas, the car will take a niche between the "heavy" version of the "Gazelle NEXT" (full mass of 4.6 tons, carrying capacity to 2.2 tons) and the "lawn Next" (full weight of 8.7 tons, carrying capacity up to 5 tons).
The use of the Cummins ISF diesel engine is 2.8 liters (power - 130 hp, torque - 353 nm) in combination with a 6-speed gearbox made it possible to achieve low fuel consumption and improve the dynamic characteristics of the car. The 6-speed manual gearbox is a new development of the Gorky Automobile Plant, designed to transmit torque to 450 nm.
The car installed a pneumatic brake system with disk brake mechanisms on all wheels, integral steering, a wide range of electronic help of the driver, including: EBD (brake force distribution system), ESP (course stability system), a helping system for raising (HSA) and anti-pass system (ASR).
The comfortable and ergonomic cabin is equipped with an efficient heating system with electrically regulating and electric mirrors, LED running lights. Also in the basic equipment of the car included cruise control. Optionally, the truck will be equipped with air conditioning, the preheater and covered fairing.
The strength of the frame compared to the Valdai car of the previous generation is increased by 30% due to the use of a new steel grade and additional cross. Many elements of the transmission are applied from the "senior", more severe model - "Lawn Next 8.7": bridge, front and rear suspension, brake system and steering. It provides a car a large margin of safety and a high resource designed for intensive operation. In addition, a high degree of car unification with the lawn NEXT will reduce operating costs for customers that use different car models for gas.
