Nizhny Novgorod State Exhibitioners From February 20 to February 23, 39 drivers who drove transport with signs intoxication were revealed in the regional center. This is reported by the press service of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
In order to prevent cases of road accidents for drunk drivers, from February 20 to 23, 2021, on the roads of the regional center, traffic police officers jointly with representatives of the public conducted a preventive event under the conditional name "Pipe". The event was held on the roads of Nizhny Novgorod using the use of a solid verification method.
According to the police lieutenant colonel, Alexei Kozhanova, Deputy Head of the OGIBDD Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Nizhny Novgorod, has been stopped as part of the raid by the police, more than 500 vehicle drivers were revealed, 39 drivers managed by motor transport with signs of intoxication: 19 of them are attracted to administrative responsibility. under art. 12.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (the driver's management by the driver, which is in a state of intoxication, the transfer of transportation of a vehicle to the person who is in a state of intoxication), 17 drivers are attracted to administrative responsibility on p. 12.26 of the Administrative Code (non-fulfillment by the driver of a vehicle requirement of the passage of medical examination on the state of intoxication).
The Nizhny Novgorod traffic police reminds that in accordance with the current legislation for the management of the transport driver in a state of intoxication, as well as the refusal to pass a medical examination on the state of intoxication, the driver will be attracted to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine of 30,000 rubles with deprivation of the right to control the vehicle on Term of 1.5 to 2 years. For a re-violation of the driver, it can be criminalized - imprisonment for up to 2 years with deprivation of the right to manage transport for up to 3 years.
Evgeny Kalinin, head of the Public Organization "Guardian Motherland", participating in this event, calls for all motorists to abandon the management of the vehicle in the state of alcohol intoxication, thereby protecting themselves and other people from the accident.
