Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant presented a new version of a commercial pickup pro. The novelty got a reinforced suspension with a bartal barteeer on the rear axle, a new option of the awning with the possibility of side boot and a 150-liter tank for HBO.
The wheeler base of the Commercial Picap UAZ "Profi" with a bartal Oshinovka increased by 30 mm, 49 mm added to the front track. The rear track is reduced by 30 mm with a parallel increase in the spring rut to the same 49 mm. The road clearance of a new truck will be 193 mm.
The truck suspension was seriously refined: there were four longitudinal levers with springs with an increased compression stroke, on the rear axis, there were original, more hard springs, as well as new wheel bearings. On the new version of the model, disk brakes are used on all four wheels, and the steering mechanism has gained damper. It is reported that all changes are designed to improve car handling in the loaded state. In addition, the modernization of the suspension allowed to achieve a more uniform distribution of the load on the axes.
The new UAZ "Profi" appeared a long-base modification that allows you to install a truck platform up to 4315 mm against 3200 mm earlier. Such a platform is accommodated up to eight pallet, and taking into account the factory awning the volume of the cargo space can reach 16 cubic meters. The height of the awning increased by 200 mm: now it is possible to work inside it in full growth. Support such modification of UAZ plans only with the drive to the rear axle.
In the list of options that will be available to a new truck, a driver's seat has appeared from the UAZ "Patriot": it has developed side support, an enlarged pillow, a lumbar backup, as well as the possibility of adjusting height. In addition, for the new "pros", the company will offer the installation of propane-butane GBO with an increased to 150 liters of a cylinder. According to the manufacturer's estimates, the stock of such a truck may exceed 1 thousand km.
As before, to equip this family will only be a gasoline 2.7-liter ZMZ Pro engine with a return of 149.5 hp and 235 nm of torque. At the same time, the possibility of the appearance of a diesel engine at the UAZ plant does not refuse. Representatives of the enterprise stated that the power unit on heavy fuel may appear in the "Profi" range in response to market requests.
The prices of the novelty are already named: a bantal-barteeer truck will be available for sale at a price of 980 thousand rubles, the basic cost of the long-base option will be 1 million 025 thousand rubles (apparently, the price tags are voiced with the current marketing proposals). In dealer centers, new pickups should appear during the near future.
