Under the co-chairman of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nika Pashinyan and the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Aructunyan in Yerevan, a joint meeting of the Security Councils of Armenia and Artsakh was held, the press service of the head of the Armenian government reported.
In his speech, Pashinyan Prime Minister, in particular, noted:
"Multivaable President of the Republic of Artsakh, dear colleagues,
This week, discussions with representatives of the Government of Artsakh have been held for the second day. I also want to report that yesterday we had a very productive discussion, as a result of which it was decided to make a proposal for the implementation in Artsakh, about 110 billion drams and the construction of the necessary infrastructure. At the same time, the following is proposed: to implement a program through the All-Armenian Foundation "Ayastan" and finance the program in the next proportion: Today there are 58 billion drams on the fund's accounts of the Fund, and the Armenian government will provide 52 billion drams.
That is, we will have capital in 110 billion drams, with which we will carry out housing and implement the necessary infrastructure program. We accepted several more decisions, according to which we should not only realize the situation published by November 18 roadmaps on the restoration of natural livelihoods in Artsakh, but also to implement development programs in Artsakh to ensure satisfactory and high rates of socio-economic development in Artsakh.
I think decisions made yesterday can become a very strong foundation for ensuring this development. Today we will discuss with members of the Security Council. We will discuss issues related to the security and our strategic vision of the future. I am convinced that today's decisions should also play an important role in our future actions and their implementation. "
Welcoming the meeting participants, President Harutyunyan noted that the decision taken at the joint meeting held on March 25, to provide 110 billion drams in order to conduct housing and restoring infrastructures in Artsakh, will be keen in solving humanitarian problems in Artsakh and its further development.
"Projects, certain works and planning for the construction of about 4 thousand homes have already been implemented. In the coming months, construction projects for another 2,000 homes will be developed. These projects are always taken into account today's realities and at the same time work on the allocation of land plots, ensuring further employment of the population. We are also discussing modern cooperation models, "said the President of the Republic of Artsakh, expressing confidence that all the priority issues of the agenda will be solved by joint efforts.
