In Grodno, a trial began on another defendant "Cities of Tikhanovsky" - a 38-year-old driver of the "Countries for Life" by Alexander Aranovich. He was detained on May 29 in Grodno during a sketching picket. The criminal case is seen in the court of the Leninsky district of the city, Tut.BY.
At first, Alexander Aranovich was charged under Article 342 "Organization of Group Action, roughly violating public order and related to obvious disobedience to the legitimate requirements of authorities, and in active participation in such actions."
On December 17, it became known that Alexander that was presented with a new accusation - under Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code "Preparation for participation in mass riots", as well as under Article 13 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus "Cooking for Crime."
Alexander Aranovich 38 years old. He has two children. Previously, he was judged in two articles - "intentional causing less serious injury" and "violence or a threat to the application of violence against employee of the internal affairs bodies." The punishment on them was departed, now criminal recorded. He lived in the old roads of the Minsk region. He graduated from the Bobruisk School of the Olympic Reserve, until 2015 was an individual entrepreneur, engaged in freight. I went to earn money in Russia, worked as a driver. Together with the "Countries for Life" team, traveled by the regions of Belarus on the branded auto farm.
Photographing in the courtroom before the meeting, police officers were not allowed, and they also demanded to turn off the phones, but those who came to the court session began to be resentment.
On May 29, in Grodno, according to the charge, the cars "Countries for Life" arrived "Conspirativity", changing routes and roads, and Alexander himself was dressed in the same clothes, like Tikhanovsky, "and this caused questions from the investigators.
However, neither during the investigation nor during the court session Aranovich did not answer any questions, refused to refuse the testimony. Therefore, at the court session, the prosecutor read several interrogations of the accused who conducted the investigator.
So, he asked how several Telegram channels were connected, newly recognized as extremist, and the channel "Country of Life"; How to organize alert of people about upcoming events; What is the role in the movement of Russian Dmitry Popova, who was a moderator of social networks "Country for Life"; Deli Aranovich read the brochure of Gina Sharpe; whether the activities of Tikhanovsky and other persons from the USA, Poland and Lithuania are funded; Does Aranovsky know who belongs to 900 thousand dollars, found from the Tikhanov house for the sofa; What tasks were put on other participants in the movement "Country for Life", etc.
Or, for example, who met the team of Tikhanovsky in Grodno and how many people arrived in the city; Why didn't the shortest route used on May 29 at the entrance to Soviet Square and why a conspiracy needed; Why Aranovich was dressed in the same way as Tikhanovsky, and who he passed this clothing.
There were other questions: whether Aranovich believes that other participants in the picket were provocateurs - including those people who are now being judged by Grodno: book, Rosichenko, Furmanov?

According to the charge, Alexander Aranovich "Not earlier than 4 May and no later than May 29, 2020, while in Belarus, including in old roads and in Grodno, acting a deliberately group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy with Tikhanov and other persons, took part in Group actions, roughly violating public order connected with obvious disobedience to the legal requirements of representatives of the authorities, which caused a violation of the work of the transport (in Grodno, during the detention of Tikhanovsky, police cars left for a roadway, which also came out, trying to "repeal" detainees. The prosecutor says that Aranovich, "Increased calls" Statkevich, Severinz, Tikhanovsky and other persons, "believed in his lacking" - and decided to "join the group crime."
He met Tikhanovsky and became a member of the movement "Country for Life". He also, according to the prosecution, began to search for tools and devices for committing a crime. So, in an unidentified time and an unspecified person, he bought a smoke checker of industrial production, which I supposedly wanted to use to actively resist the authorities. That is, he considers the consequence, wanted to make a smoke vest, because of which vehicles would be destroyed or damaged, bodily injuries to the authorities and civilians would be caused, and this could be a kind of provocation for the incitement of the "increasing crowd" that Would know the chaos, pogroms and goggles of buildings.
Also, according to the prosecution, Aranovich took part in the planning of crimes and in criminal conspiracy.
So, on May 5, for example, together with Tihananovsky, he took part in unauthorized rally and procession in Mogilev, where "publicly demonstrated personal permissiveness and dismissive attitude to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus by violating generally accepted behaviors, promoted the visibility of impunity by bravada and leveling the importance of punishment for crimes , including for actions, roughly violating public order. "
It also turned out that Tikhanovsky and other people in Grodno under the guise of a legal satellite collection picket conducted an illegal mass event, which was attributed to social and political life in the country, conducted a destructive nature agitation.
In general, according to the prosecution, they committed a crime based on socio-political hostility, and also planned an attack on police officers, which, in fact, considers the investigation, and committed.
We will remind, the courts over other detainees on May 29 still go and guilty they are not yet recognized.
Aranovich does not recognize his guilt, disagree with the accusation. After listening to the prosecutor, the accused only shrugged and said:

Sergey Tikhanovsky and a few more people detained on May 29 in Grodno during a sacrifice collection picket. This was preceded by an incident, as a result of which a policeman fell. Eyewitnesses of events called it provocation, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the detainees applied violence against police officers.
At first it was reported on one affected policeman, then about two.
On June 3 and 4, at the cottage at Tikhanovsky near Gomel and in his office in Gomel were searches. During the search at the cottage, investigators found 900 thousand dollars.
To date, Tikhanovsky charged on three articles of the Criminal Code:
- Organization of actions, roughly violating public order (part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code, is punishable by a fine, or arrest, or a limitation of freedom for up to three years, or imprisonment for the same time), in connection with the events in Grodno on May 29, where Tikhanovsky and was detained;
- The prevention of the work of the Central Election Commission (Art. 191 of the Criminal Code is punishable by public works, or a fine, or correctional work for up to two years, or a limitation of freedom for up to three years, or imprisonment for the same period) - Lydia Yermoshin, who informed The media about what was recognized as the victim in the case claimed that "Tikhanovsky is dangerous for the state and society";

Belarusian human rights defenders recognized Sergey Tikhanovsky and the rest of the detainees in this case political prisoners and demand their liberation.
