The minister of education, science and youth policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region Olga Petrov and the Director of the Department of Public Administration and the State Service of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Sergey Bocharov, took part in the opening of the first stream.
The program of the first lesson is a general acquaintance with the activities of public volunteer associations in the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the team building, the training "Leadership and Volunteering" and the strategic session.
"We understand that this year will require the involvement of a large number of volunteers. We are waiting for large-scale events: this is "Student Spring", and the event program to the 800th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod. And guests of the city, and residents need help volunteers, "noted Olga Petrov.The volunteer training program is designed for two target groups. The first - volunteers and representatives of volunteer organizations in the region. They will explore topics such as advocacy skills, security in the urban and natural environment, features of interaction with different client groups, volunteer competences, social design and fundraising, the role of volunteering in the modern world.
"This program will consist of three sections. The first is a training, where we will acquaint the guys with different volunteer movements, features, such as search and rescue detachments, physician volunteers and others. The second block is strategic sessions for the further development of volunteer movements. And the third is a sports kill, "said Maria Selfkin, head of the NRU waters of the Victory Volunteers.The second target group is the leaders and managers of projects of volunteer associations, which will be trained under the program of the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (Purchase). Training is aimed at improving the efficiency of the Volunteer Command and the development of the competencies "Management of Efficiency", "Leadership" and "Strategic Thinking" for the successful implementation of volunteer projects.

At the meeting, representatives of volunteer movements proposed the initiative to develop a unified regional educational program for volunteers of the Nizhny Novgorod Region together with the corporate university of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, which was supported by the governor.
