VTB in 2020 concluded more than 90 credit agreements with the company's companies in the region in the state program of preferential lending to the subjects of SMEs No. 764 in the amount of 3.1 billion rubles. The stipulated financing volume of more than 2.6 times exceeded the figure for 2019. VTB loan portfolio according to Program No. 1764 in the Novosibirsk Region for 2020 increased by 2.9 times and on January 1 amounted to about 2.2 billion rubles.

Preferential lending has provided major support for regional business during the COVID-19 pandemic period. "Program 1764" is in demand among entrepreneurs of the Novosibirsk region, which is confirmed by a two-time increase in the number of agreements concluded with the companies of the region, compared with the previous year. This tool is relevant for SMEs from various sectors of the real sector of the economy: under the VTB program, provided affordable financing to manufacturing enterprises, the construction sector, rental business, trade and others.

According to the terms of "Program No. 1764", small and medium-sized businesses may receive preferential loans for investment goals for a period of up to 10 years (in total from 500 thousand to 2 billion rubles), to replenish working capital for up to three years (in the amount of up to 500 million rubles), on the development of entrepreneurial activities for up to five years (in the amount of up to 10 million rubles). You can also use the program for refinancing purposes.

In the whole country, the amount of VTB financing under the program more than twice the figure exceeded the figure for 2019 and reached 192 billion rubles: every fifth such loan in Russia issued VTB. The share of the bank in the total amount of issuance increased over the year by 2 pp. And amounted to 21%.

In January 2021, VTB Bank (PJSC) began receiving applications for new programs of the program, which suggest preferential lending at a rate not higher than 7% per annum, with subsequent provision of subsidies to credit organizations from the federal budget. According to the terms of the state program, loans can get subjects of SMEs from 20 priority industries.
