In private house-building or repair, rarely arise the issues of maximum measurement accuracy. Usually lovers or beginners error in 1-2 mm are not critical. However, there are situations where the deviation of several millimeters can avoid expensive alterations.
I gathered several roulettes that were from me, and tried to compare them with each other.

Taking into account the fact that two roulettes had 2 class of accuracy, then they can be focused on them.
I recently stumbled upon such a miracle video and decided to test my tape measure and look at how much they differ from each other.
For comparison I have 2 identical roulettes, metallic meter, and the level on which the measurement scale is also specified.
I put them together to understand how different the readings of each measuring instrument. All measurements were carried out from a certain place (the end of the laminate lamella). Also, measurements are made at home therefore conditional accuracy, but for our purposes it is quite suitable.
I compared them with each other, for clarity.
Almost the same, the difference in 1 mm in Light - does not play a big role in our experiment.
Other measuring instruments: Corner and level also showed quite accurate results.
Differences in the price category of the roulette for 800 rubles. and 3.5 thousand rubles. There will be minimal.
So I want to summarize. It turned out that deviations of different tools do not exceed 1 mm from each other. At a sufficiently high level, it turned out and not intended for measuring the construction level.
